Ricaco
Born in Shonan, Japan in 1993. Ricaco studied children's literature and culture at Shirayuri Women's University, and went to London to study painting. She completed Art & Design Study Abroad Course at Kingston University and Children's Book Illustration Short Course at the University of the Arts London.
While working at a major human resources advertising company, she is involved in advertising and video production, as well as her own creative activities. In 2018, her picture book "On a Rainy Day" won the G-grape Award and was exhibited at the Bologna Children's Book Fair.
Her work focuses on picture book production and illustration, depicting familiar motifs with a unique use of color and a touch of reality and darkness in the midst of fantasy. She also release AR effects and video works on SNS.

1993年 神奈川県湘南生まれ。白百合女子大学児童文学・文化専攻で絵本制作を学ぶ。大学在学中に絵を学ぶためロンドンに留学。キングストン大学デザイン留学コース、ロンドン芸術大学絵本イラストレーションコース修了。
大手人材広告企業にて、広告制作や動画制作に携わる傍ら自身の制作活動を行う。2018年絵本『あめのひに』がジーグレイプ賞を受賞しイタリアのボローニャ国際絵本見本市に出展された。
絵本制作、イラストレーションを中心に手がけ、身近なモチーフを独特な色づかいと、幻想的な中にもどこかリアリティと不気味さ漂うタッチで描く。SNSでは、ARエフェクトや映像作品も公開。
